I'm not saying I'm in shock, but I just had difficulty remembering my name to sign in! :D

THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRIS AND WIGGY!!!

I was laughing a bit too much to take in all the answers, (poor Chris filmed in the gents again... :D ) but thanks for answering them in such great detail, I'll be off to try and concentrate harder on the answers in a minute. ;) It's interesting to know Chris has written some short plays and things and poetry... I'd love to read some. :)

It was a great little vid Wiggy... thank you both lots! :)

Thanks for this Wiggy and Chris...it has made my day :D

I haven't laughed so much since Paul O'Grady fell off his chair on his show yesterday! :p

Chris gave some interesting and insightful answers too, and you asked some very good questions Fran!

Still in shock, Fran?! :D

Thank you for that, wiggy and Chris! Brilliant stuff! Gawd, the things you have to do for your art, Chris (and, yes, I did notice that second lil sideways glance of yours at the start of the vid!! :D ) LOL! :D

Great questions, Fran....which produced great responses. Though lol, one of your questions was practically identical to one of those I'm sorting out right now (yes, mine are still to come...sorry! ;) )!!

Found the stuff on Chris having written plays/poems/etc. particularly interesting, as I'm currently writing a book of poems, and I've made a start to a play too. Maybe you could give me some advice sometime, Chris!!!!

Btw, could someone please tell me the name of that novel Chris mentioned, as, with all the reverb in those loos, I didn't catch the name?!

I couldn't quite make it out either, but Wiggy has kindly supplied the answer.

The character is Stephen Raysford and the novel is Birdsong..by Sebastian Faulks. (I already know of two new copies that are being bought today. ;) :D ) From what I've read on it, it would be a great part for Chris to play. :)

How is deciding to buy a book filled with such poignant and moving themes 'filthy'? You'll have to explain that to me, as I just don't get it at all! ;)

... Sounds a bit rude don't you think?

The book is supposed to be a bit filthy too, not that I've read it but I've read a few reviews.

;)

Seriously, though, on the book itself, from what I've just been reading about it, I've now got mixed feelings on reading it. It sounds like it could well be a very satisfying and moving read, so I'm now both looking forward to and not looking forward to getting my copy of it, all at the same time!

I managed to get my copy of the book today. :)

I've read through the introduction and even that was gripping! Why he wrote it and the amount of research he did. It definitely seems to be a book 'fate' intended him to write. Sometimes it's difficult to imagine what characters in stories look like. I don't think that will be a problem with this one. ;) :)

I'm up to chapter 7...really enjoying it, I love the way he writes. Whether or not it's 'filthy'.....up to now, nah, don't think so, so far, I would describe it as explicit, but not vulgar. :)
