Couldn't find a suitable place to post this, maybe there's been a similar thread before but it's been buried on earlier pages. I've spent most of today waiting around for replies to text messages, e-mails, phone calls, carrier pigeons, smoke-signals, semaphore, and any other means of communication I can think of, trying to get possible extras to confirm for tomorrow. Only 1 definite (not counting me) and one who phoned back straight away yesterday to say yes, hasn't answered anything today. Was beginning to think I'd fallen into a black hole, then I looked out of the window and I still have a view of Morecambe, therefore I am in a black hole. Anyway, I'm not giving up, will keep hassling them 'til I drop, and at least I've managed to amuse myself by going back to the beginning of the 800 Posts Thread and going through page by page. I'm up to about 270 by now, and all I've found out is people shouldn't try to predict the results of football matches, and Photoshop is really popular. See you all tomorrow!

I must be getting tired, forgot to try the obvious means of communication, mental telepathy. Probably too late to try that now, the message would be too garbled after it worked it's way through their respective alcoholic hazes.

The one mentioned above, who was really keen yesterday, but was abducted by aliens today, finally got back in touch this evening to ask if she was being paid! Now she's done 1 day on the set of 1 film, and may actually appear in a scene or two, she's obviously a star!

By the same logic, as I've been an extra in a film with Johnny Depp, John Malkovich, and Samantha Morton (not to mention Johnny Vegas) I have decided not to turn up tomorrow unless Cop assures me my Motorhome is available.

Only kidding, I'll be there.

I'll settle for a Fluffer (or is it not that sort of film?)

Best go now before this Thread evolves into a Blog.

Hi Dave, don't worry about it mate, it would be great if you could come up anyway, we need as many people as possible, I thought it would better on a weekend, but its proven to be the opposite really

We'll work something out, we always do :)

Well it's not really Breaking News for everyone, but it is to me. I've only just noticed how wonderfully P.C. this forum is. You actually give us 3 gender choices - I prefer being unspecified but I usually have to pick male or female, which I just refuse to do if I'm feeling particularly belligerent. And if they just put Sex: then leave you an empty box to fill in, I just put Yes. Back to tomorrow, Jennie's been round to check what to wear tomorrow, and she still insists she'll be here by 9-30 a.m. So that's 2 of us, not exactly a car-full, but all I'm going to manage. Grrrrr!

Dave who's that bird in your avatar? Is everyone else thinking the same thing as me - an absolute corker. You'll have to bring her, she's every bit as bonny as that common sort who had her fingers in my mouth during the last shoot.

Both pearlers mind.

Still good for us though

For those who don't know what we are talking about

BAR STEWARDS MOVIE – EXTRAS NEEDED THIS SATURDAY

Hi all,

The Bar Stewards crew are filming the final part of the nightclub scene this Saturday (19th April), this time at the Roxy Nightclub in Darwen. Extras are asked to turn up at 12pm at the main doors where they will be asked to register their details to Marylyn on arrival. For drivers, there is plenty of free street parking in Darwen

Filming may continue until about 8pm, however we hope to wrap well before then, and as usual food will be provided.

The address for the club is

Roxy Nightclub

27-35, Market St,

Darwen,

Lancashire

BB3 1PS

Let me know if you can make it and feel free to bring some friends.

Cheers

Paul Coppack

The Producer

Birty, I'm not sure how to answer that one. I guess she could be there if you're sure that's what you want.......

In the words of Gob from 'Arrested Development', "I've made a huge mistake".

Don't tell the wife, she'll go absolutely mental...although when you think about it, is it really cheating?

Right, I'm putting my shovel away and going to bed. I've got somewhere important to go tomorrow, and I'm driving, so I hope you're right about the parking in Darwen. There'd better be some big spaces though, 'cause I seem to have lost my spacial awareness and can't park very well. Which is strange considering I used to be a big hairy-arsed trucker, and had no trouble reversing artics into loading bays. Actually. I was never big, or all that hairy, and I probably wasn't all that arsed either.

Ha ha excellent... if you can't find anywhere to park.. blame Tim! I'm going off his word here... parking is free in Darwen apparently

I know I was going to bed, but I had a panic attack remembering I'd put in my profile, summat about Googling for me if anyone's that interested. Anyway, worrying that someone might actually do that, I tried it myself - forewarned is fore-armed or whatever. I thought I didn't have a website for the last few years, but I've discovered most of it is still there (think HTML has evolved since 2002 so bits need a bit of re-coding) so if anyone wants to see a retro flash website it's still almost functional - a bit like me really!http://www.dee.trannies4ever.co.uk

It was intended as a TV Channel urine-extractor, and I'm still quite proud of the DeeFax page. Pity the Soap Opera's down though. Maybe I'll repair it. But not tonight.

Ref. Birty's posts nos. 6 & 11, it's a perfectly understandable mistake, and I'm sure no-one on the Crew will even mention it! As for me I'm really flattered, and I'd like to thank the lovely people at Adobe Photoshop for their assistance.
