Cheers, silly wiggy and sensible Carolyn. :p

That question on whether a film would still be screened if no one bought a ticket to see it reminded me of when I went to see DMC....Only me and 2 other people were there for the screening. The film deserved a better showing than that.

I liked Carolyn's answers! :)

And - *cough*- it bothered me, so I looked it up...

Novel......noun, a fictitious prose narrative of book length.

Book - a written or printed work of fiction or nonfiction, usually on sheets of paper fastened or bound together within covers.

So, if a novel is a narrative of book length, how long exactly is book length? How many sheets have to be fastened together for them to be regarded as a book? Is there a minimum? And if there is, why doesn't the dictionary say so? :)

It's going to bother me all night now!

Off to think about seashells..... o_O ;)

And then you have a novella! So, what's the shortest length a novel has to be to still be defined a novel and not a novella?! :p
