Haha, whilst watching this, managed to get 2 out of 3 things right on Chris's part in it all! Soon as mention of Reconnected UK came on screen, I thought this must be the business Chris's Patrick Conlan would be associated with...and it was! And then when Pete Norris's part of the storyline kicked in, I was sure (well, Pete was played by Chris's 'trailer mate' Darryl ;) Clark!) Chris's character would be 'the guy' he was down to meet...and he was! Hadn't thought, though, that Chris's tiny role in this would actually be a pivotal one for the whole storyline.

Chris's scene seemed quite weirdly done/cut, though, in regards the smug-faced shot we got of him. That one shot didn't seem to fit with the ones immediately before and after; and so it was as if the wrong shot of Chris was chosen to fit the scene that we saw. It didn't make sense. What do others think on this? Weird....

Nice to see Chris back on the telly, though (plus pink tie/shirt!). And no squashed credits this time (though they were still quite small!)....

It was great to see Chris back on screen! :)

If only they'd concentrated on Patrick Conlan for more than a minute!

I can't pretend I've enjoyed the series, cos then I'd be fibbing, to be honest, it's been a bit like slow torture watching and waiting every week, in the hope Chris turned up.

As usual, he was worth the - somewhat agonising - wait and made the most of the little time he had to show us the character. Why on earth the only believable actor/character in it got so little screen time .....mumble...grumble...mumble...o.k. I might be a tiny bit biased, but I don't think I'm alone in thinking some of the other characters are...(thinks of a polite way to say it)...'less than convincing'..Looking on the bright side, Chris's short performance must have stood out to any casting directors watching! Loved the pink shirt and tie!

Here's hoping we don't have to wait too long before he's on t.v. again, and that he gets a chance to shine properly... - any hints from Chris about anything new on the horizon welcome! o_O

Well, yeah, I'd also be a fibber if I said I was a fan of the show...But, well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...which applies to a 'guy' ;) , too, of course......

Haha, you're a true fan Fran! Not many would do that.

I watched it on BBCi Player so could speed through it to Chris's bit. Then I watched Chris's scene in The Innocence Project in HD courtesy of Virgin on Demand (the whole series is there in high definition, even the ones that didn't get aired).

I think that's just time compression you're seeing there Joanna. They obviously wanted to convey that he's a smug chap, so cut in a reaction adequately smug. In the real world that conversation wouldn't have happened as quickly as that even if the reactions would have been completely consistent. And the end of the scene was him getting nabbed, so they have license to pace it up even more. You see it all the time in films. Sometimes getting the information across to a viewer is more important than the reality of it because you only have a short amount of time to get it across.

Didn't know about this so missed it. Haven't watched any of the series so anyone know when this episode is on again?

Just watch it on BBCi Player on www.bbc.co.uk should be there for a week.
Cheers. I skipped until Chris's face popped up. I couldn't sit through the whole episode. So, er, can't say I really knew what was going on.

Despite that, good turn Chris. As ever.

And nice suit, by the way. Such a contrast to Layton's ripped jeans. ;)

I've never seen any of it so not knowing at what point Chris would appear, I had to skip the skipping and I had to sit through the whole episode.

And after that, I never really knew what was going on either.

I didn't skip, I just did a little dance.
:)

By funny coincidence, I was flicking through the channels earlier this evening and chanced upon the very scene Chris was in just before he entered.

Spook-y.

Thanks for watching guys.

I expect BAFTA will be contacting me with regards my nomination sometime soon. I already wrote my speech. Fingers crossed for me!

Oh and about that horizon.... I am currently penning a Patrick Conlan spin off show called Electronic Messiah (or e-messiah). Its coming along ok but the hard part is trying to find a way to make the title mean something. Catchy though!

Now, you know that's not what I meant.

I'm still patiently waiting for someone to write a T&K spin off, never mind Patrick Conlan. ;)

Still, anything that gets you back on screen...even Sp Spoo Spoo...it's no good, I can't say it...but even that. :)
