From the writer of THE BENCH and LOOKIN' FOR LUCKY

The original tale from PARADISE HEIGHTS revisited...

Directed by IAN CURLEY

Written & performed by Joe O'Byrne

Frank’s a hard man in a dirty old town. A loan shark and poker player, he’s taken on some of the toughest that ever drew breath. They’ve all ended up broken…or buried.

But as he takes us on a tour of his recent past we see the mask is slipping and that this is a man haunted by his own demons. Tonight he’s shining a light into the recent events in his life, the further we go with him, the darker the territory becomes…

…and waiting in the dark is his toughest opponent of all…himself.

THIS IS THE PLAY THAT STARTED THE WHOLE PARADISE HEIGHTS SERIES THAT ULTIMATELY LEAD TO THE FEATURE FILM - 'LOOKIN' FOR LUCKY' - THE PLAYS 'BANSHEE' AND 'THE BENCH' AND THE FORTH COMING PLAYS 'RANK' AND 'TORCH'...COME AND SEE HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

For TWO NIGHTS ONLY at The LOWRY STUDIO, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March at 8:00 PM

BOOKINGS ONLINE AT: http://www.thelowry.com/WhatsOn/EventDetail.aspx?EventId=3713

Get your arses to the Lowry. I've seen the short film, this promises to be even better than The Bench (which was top drawer) ;)

Nice one, Mike. And all the best from me to Joe, Ian and the rest of the I'm Frank Morgan gang on its run at The Lowry.

PS: As this now seems the most appropriate place for it, HERE is a repost for that really enjoyable interview Joe recently did with Whatsonstage.com Manchester's Glenn Meads.
