I'm running a good system at the moment with the new Explorer 7+ and the latest java console. It'll crash 1 in 3 times on my PC, it's really annoying but I can't figure why it's so unstable?
There's your problem right there. Use Firefox it's much more stable and secure.

Yeah, I agree with Mike on this one! I used to have loads of problems with IE and so then I switched to Firefox, where things run a lot more smoothly and securely. No browser is perfect, but it's Firefox over IE, for me, any day!

Just make sure, if you do convert to Firefox, that you check that you've got Java/Javascript enabled for it (under 'Tools'...then 'Options'....then 'Content'!!). They should be enabled by default, though.

I may as well add my best wishes to everyone....except for Bruno and ctann, who keep beating my scores on the arcade...I hope you two lose your thumbs. That said it's a charitable time of year and I may be going slightly over the top with that last remark, I take it back.

Merry Christmas everyone

except you Bruno and ctann.

I now own every episode of Curb... :)

And I swapped Doctor Who series 2 for Lost series one and two with my Brother ;) so finally I can watch Lost without the annoying adverts.

But I have had a pretty bad Christmas, I've really hurt my arm, :( and furniture are has been damaged in our house, one being a hanging lampshade, my Dad is furious... but it was his fault, as he bought the Nintendo Wii in the first place! :)

I'm sure most people will be hungover tomorrow i will be

a few tips here....

Toast and honey is the ideal New Year's Day hangover cure,

Honey, or alternatively golden syrup, provides the body with the essential sodium, potassium and fructose it needs after a night out,

Other tips from the chemists include: drinking a glass of milk before hitting the pubs and bars; sticking to gin or vodka and tonic; pacing yourself with the occasional soft drink; and downing a pint of water before going to bed.

"The happiness comes from alcohol; the hangover comes from acetaldehyde.

"This is the toxic chemical into which alcohol is converted by the body, and it causes a throbbing headache, nausea, and maybe even vomiting.

Honey provides the body with sodium, potassium and fructose

"The hangover disappears as the acetaldehyde is slowly converted to less toxic chemicals."

Have a great night everyone be safe. Happy New Year!

Evening All!

I haven't been on much but thought I'd pop on to wish everybody a

HAPPY NEW YEAR :big toothy grin:

I hope you all have a fab night tonight whatever you are up to and that 2007 is all you want it to be! (thought I'd end on a bit of a cheesy sentimental note o_O )

Rach xx

p.s. Thanks for the hangover tips Cop - currently searching the house for honey, me thinks I'll be needing it by the bucket load!

I'll be in Wigan to see the New Year in strangely enough. Long story... I know the DJ and he's driving...

And Coppack you were invited but I only found out late last night and I've felt like death all day. Too late now though, setting off in an hour!

That said if you can make it to my house in 30 minutes ;)

Every New Year holds surprises

A mix of good things and bad.

Some days when you’ll be happy

And dark days when you’ll be sad.

So, grab hold of all opportunities

Don't relinquish them, without a fight,

Learn from past bad decisions

And do, what you know in your heart, to be right.

If, unexpected things happen,

Learn the lessons that come from the blows

Then put them away in your experience box

And keep heading straight for your goals.

Two thousand and seven is a blank script

The players will be many and mixed

May it end with a standing ovation

May it end with a smile on your lips. ;) :)

WISHING EVERYONE A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR :)
