MovieSet is a new website dedicated to promoting Feature Films in development, and Bar Stewards is now on there.

The site is not the finished article yet, this is the Beta version. I met one of the programmers in Cannes and he has gone off his own back and "pinched" the content from the Pleased Sheep Website... which saved us the job of emailing it all to the site. :)

I need to send him the MOV's of the videos that we want on there

The site is good for producers / production managers, if the cast and crew sign up, its particularly good for call sheets (templates are on the site) and its easy to send out out everyone... rather than saving it as a PDF, saving it to your computer, emailing everyone, attaching, sending. You can do it with one or two clicks. Its a shame we don't have any major scenes left

The site is similar to IMDb - but more networky, as I believe it will soon be integrated into social groups like facebook etc. But where IMDb gives you an information page, MovieSet lets you upload pictures of production, cast, crew and promotional stuff, and it doesn't cost a thing.

So check it out, we are one of the first projects getting the website off the ground. Go to the main page and type in "Bar Stewards" in the search box

Joanna, that's something else for your completists guide

Cheers, Cop. I'll add that in a bit later. And I like the BS promo image on there; it reminds me of the labelling for Guinness!

Just been there and signed up. Bar Stewards currently at No.5 in the Top 10. Not too chuffed about the profile pic. they have for me though - looks like my wrinkles have been over-Photoshopped.

I sent them a synopsis and that lobby card which can be found on your guide... they cropped it, I don't mind, its seems that they are doing all the work for us at the moment. I'm sure in a few weeks we will have a replacement poster for them and IMDb etc. And yes it was based on Guinness. ;) Shhhhh

Ahh Chris Pine.

He's such rootsy actor who's career has really branched out over the last couple years. He often gives a performance that leaves you feeling he was really that person living that life. He really twigs a character's inner self without playing it in a corny way.

See what I did there?

I've always found his acting a bit wooden.
