the red scarlet certainly would be nice, but $3000 just for the body, it may end up being pricey with the rest of the accessories. I thought the canon EOS 5D was a digital camera?

I think the 35mm lens adapters really do the trick. You've got a lot of depth of field in the shots. You did a really good job on color grading as well. Is the grain done in post? (the grain looks really good)
Did you shoot this on film? Or did you filmize your video? Just curious because the only cameras I've heard mention of are the sony XDCAM. I use the sony XDCAM EX3, and am trying to acheive a film look, but it certainly doesn't look as good as this (if that is what your using)
