I agree with that but thought the Peter Kay episode was poor- maybe thats just because of my hatred for him though.

RTD has been very hit-and-miss with the stories. There have been some brilliant episodes, and some very poor. I, like Finchy, expected a lot more from the opener.

Tate wasn't as bad as I thought she would be but there were two or three cringeworthy moments. I liked Martha and was disappointed when she left, and even moreso when I discovered her replacment was Tate. The Rose bit was very interesting.
