Well Fran, here is your very own personal Q&A with Mr Finch, it is in my opinion the best interview he has ever done and it is 17 bloody minutes in length. He does tend to get a bit long winded at times and I did actually fall asleep on two seperate occassions but it is dynamite... so enjoy and don't let anybody else watch it as it is for you and you alone!

Well, I didn't expect to see something like this tonight....and I bet you didn't either, Fran! 'Lucky' indeed! 'Jealous' more like...and I obviously don't mean you!! So, Fran, jaw picked up off the floor yet? Speech all returned nicely? Drooling all under control and mopped up? :D

Thank you, Chris, wiggy, and, of course, Fran! Could quickly see a pattern emerging during that interview.....in both the type of questions and their answers! :p But what a pretty pattern it was! :p ;)

Really fun and insightful interview. And my two laugh-out-loud moments? Well, they were when Chris said this...."...and I really connected with the character of the elves"....and this...."And my bow!" :D

I adore The Beatles, too, Chris. They're just such a magical band. Lost, though....Best not to get me started. I adore that too...but I don't have Sky and so can't watch this third series! Argghhhhh!!!! *sobsssss*

And I'm yet to sort out my questions, aren't I?! ;) o_O

I am a lucky girl! Thanks Wiggy! :)

Now if I hadn't asked 'Why?' you'd have zoomed through that list like a dose of salts (as dear old mum used to say:rolleyes:) "Why" adds that little extra something. (I wasn't sat here in a hot sweat feeling guilty - honest. )

Thanks millions Chris for giving up so much of your time! :) :) :)

I'm trying to think if any of your answers surprised me, but I can't think of any, except maybe the Beatles and Judy Dench, not that I don't agree they're great. Glad to hear you like Rock best, Queen are top of my list.

I have the same problem deciding on favourite colour when I'm asked. Mine was always blue too, then for some reason I guiltily started to wonder if I preferred pink or lilac! Yep, guiltily, as if the colour blue knows I might have changed my mind. o_O Same thing happened when my favourite number changed from 5 to 13. I could almost sense that 5 wasn't very happy with me. (I'm not mad really. :p ) Also love Star Trek and Star Wars and landscapes.

I've only played Texas Hold em poker once. There were quite a few of us and I was the only girl, and sat patiently listening to the lads explaining to 'dumb little me' how it all worked. It was so nice to walk away with all the chips at the end of the game. ;) Have to admit I won by doing very unexpected things though. I think I confused them. o_O :)

Looks like I'm going to have try reading some Stephen King books since you recommend them so highly. Although I'm still a bit addicted to War stories and Spy stories since you got us reading Birdsong.

(Good job you didn't say your favourite pastime is skydiving....who knows what I might have done! :) )

That's cheered me up no end, I just found out someone's hacked into my credit card details and run up a bill of nearly £2000. So thanks for putting a smile back on my face! :) :) :)

Thanks Wiggy. ;) Coffee's my favourite drink too but only if it's Gold Blend with Coffee mate. Not that I'm fussy or anything. o_O Everyone at work drinks it the same way as me now, I think Gold Blend and coffee mate should pay me some kind of royalty.

But look at this way... to hire Chris Finch, for that amount of planning, the interview and to answer ALL your questions... personally (!) and then to get it broadcast to the world... if you were REALLY paying - it would probably cost you over a grand... nearly maybe nearly two grand, also remember he took time out of shooting, so you should feel really privaliged!

So imagine you spent your stolen money on the interview... thats a whole 17 minutes of hardcore Finch action you have got - for, a stolen credit card... which Pleased Sheep / and Greedy Finch could have charged you for anyway!

So, every cloud.....

Evening all :)

Just wanted to pass on my thanks to Chris & Wiggy for taking the time to film the interview for us - I loved it! I've already watched it twice as was interrupted first time round by the darn kiddies wanting attention - couldn't they see I was busy? lol (Yep Fran, 'Auntie Rach' was on babysitting duties once again  )

Also want to thank Fran - you managed to ask some fantastic questions (and yes the added 'why' definitely added more scope - and humour :) to the interview, not to mention the fact that it stretched it to a whopping 17 minutes!!!! :)

Some really interesting answers btw, agree with you about Star Wars - I grew up on those films thanks to my brothers. It was a case of 'why have a Barbie when you can have a Chewbacca?' (I could never be Luke Skywalker - that was 'against the rules' lol)

Thanks again,

Rach xx

Well, having watched it 'once or twice' now (o.k. maybe a few more times than that... ), I've decided it's impossible to say which bits make me giggle most, but the elves and the bow is definitely up there! Along with......well, most of it really. :)

wiggy: What's your favourite food?

Chris: Italian.

wiggy: That's a race. That's a country.

Chris: Yeah, and they also have a style of food.

:D  :D

Welcome, welcome, Senior Member. Good to finally have you join us at last. I trust you're finding everything to your satisfaction.

Firstly, I think I should say that it would be advisable to do your best to enjoy your time here. Our leader, Mr Booth-Finch, would be most dismayed if this wasn't the case. And, after all, pleasure is the key for an organisation that you'll never be leaving....

 :D

That was a really informative and entertaining interview. Thanks to Chris, Wiggy and Fran! :)

Chris, you have great taste in music and a mention for Synchronicity too. :) My favourite drama of last year and what on earth was it doing tucked away on BBC3?

Wiggy, you need your own microphone! ;)
