S2F2 - Sefton Short Film Festival - is now in its 4th year and will run for 3days in October. We are currently open for submissions.

Call For Submissions

Our original mandate remains the same: To bring Short Films to a wider audience, to promote new filmmakers' work and give them a chance to see their films on the big screen!

We're looking for original, inventive, funny, scary, dramatic or just downright bizarre short films.

Last date for submissions is 31st July 2008.

I'm the acting programmer for ORGANIC CHERRY, hopefully the new fringe here in Liverpool. WE are launching at the Bluecoat chambers on MArch 25th and will run every last wed after that.

We are showcasing short films, script in hand scenes, music performances and organic created shows of working scripts on the night.

www.organiccherry.org.uk is our website but contact chase@organiccherry.org.uk with film submissions. This first one, we are looking for under 5 min films, silent spots and animation. But I am also looking to create themes around the films shown.

Is the 25th March date open for all comers or is it a ticket/invitation only event?

Sounds really interesting.

Culturepool have set up this event and it launches on 25th. we are still looking for scripts for the script in hand reads on the night. www.organiccherry.org.uk I think there is a door fee or one can get tickets from the bluecoat.

But we are definitely looking for writers, directors, actors to come thru on the night and get stuck in. Performing organically on the night.
