Thanks McMilly. I think the reason why there's less grain in the YouTube version is that there's less compression. But there is grain in the original footage. There's a training DVD for the EX1 called the Vortex DVD, there's some settings that they suggest that they've posted on the internet...

No the HVX is a bit of a noisy beast to be honest, that's why I switched to the EX1. I prefer to add it if necessary rather than try to take it away. Add to that lens adapters also add a layer of grain from the ground glass and voila! Grain. HVX202a actually is far less noisy than the earlier...

We used the Panasonic HVX200 along with a Red Rock Micro M2 35mm lens adapter + various Nikon lenses.

Weird, I haven't seen a PD150 in years and in my head it's about the size of my EX1 but with a smaller lens. Another camera I really like is the JVC HD200.

My choices right now... Sony EX1 (great little camera, especially when coupled with my Letus Extreme 35mm lens adapter) Canon EOS Mark 5D Mark II (SLR, but records 1080p video at a high quality) And later on in the year. Red Scarlet 5k (S35 sensor) Ps Wiggy, was the PD150 not more Z1/EX1 sized?

If you click the quote button on his post it'll automatically add his text (highlighted as a quote) to your post you know. To the uninitiated it just looks like you're talking to yourself in a multi coloured way.

Or you could just use the buttons at the top when you're posting, click the big black underlined A.

Thank goodness for that! :P Just got to fix up menu links for the arcade and social groups now. Note that you can now click on your name up at the top to see your profile. Makes it easier. You have privacy options too in your control panel.

I've updated the software that the site runs on now. Not sure if it's got rid of the above error because I didn't get that error personally. I've just logged out and logged back in flawlessly. Keep me posted loyal members :luv&worship:
