"Okay, off you go...quietly."
Did anyone else see Chris in GH today?! He was in two scenes as Mr Lydon, the history teacher. In the first scene, Mr Lydon....complete with Layton hair (including that 'curl' at the bottom!) ....was finishing off a lesson by asking how everyone was getting on after being back at school for a week...and he talked about his recent backpacking trip to Iceland, too! Though....argghh....just as he was saying 'lovely', my reception flipping blipped! And the CBBC logo seemed to be almost permanently attached to his head, too!
A nice scene, though, and Chris did get some good pieces of dialogue. And this applies to the second scene, too.....
In his last scene of the eppy, he's actually giving a history lesson...."So, we've got the Chartists, the Luddites, the swing riots. What else?"
We get teacher/pupil talk about the Rebecca Riots....and, before this, we get...."Alex! Another protest movement of the Industrial Revolution."
So, GH isn't my kind of show and I wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for Chris's involvement in it, but I did really enjoy the scenes Chris was in. Yes, Chris, you were right.....as well as being great in this....of course!!
Well, we've got just one more scene to go with Mr Lydon. No idea which eppy that'll be in.....Chris.....
