LA Times are reporting that he's actually in a coma, but TMZ are sticking to their guns that he's indeed passed on.

Edit: Now LA Times have changed their story and they're reporting he's died.

LA Times have just put up on their website that he has indeed passed away. What a loss. R.I.P MJ

This is terrible news. I'm shocked and saddened. MJ was a genius and his death is a great great loss to the world of music.

Coroner has now confirmed his death.

The guy was an icon when I was growing up. I'll Remember him for the good stuff. Billie Jean, Thriller, Bad, Beat it... RIP MJ.

I agree, but I must admit that the helicopter shot is a bit weird with him sitting up. It's been explained that he was being moved, but why would they need to move him and as he's in a helicopter he'd be strapped down :cool:)

Well yes, the sight of Michael looking like a cadaver dragging his skinny collection of skin and bones across the stage totally proves he was the picture of health before he died from a cardiac arrest after more than 25 years of unnecessary cosmetic surgery and excessive prescription drug use.

I don't understand their argument? How many people have you known suddenly die from heart problems, there are loads. How many time do we say, "I only saw them last week and they looked fine".

If the reports are true that he was doing 10 hour days, pushing his body to the limit, popping painkillers and energy boosters, of course his 50 year old body wouldn't handle it!

We see the same with Wrestlers dieing from heart-problems, these are steroid related, and they are over-worked.

Even fit footballers like Marc Vivian Foe, he died on the football field, he was fit as a fiddle.

It's just a sad sad story, but its life and we have to accept it.

As for the chap who saw someone who looks like Michael Jackson crossing the Mexican boarder... get a grip.

As for Wacko sitting up - that just looks like the way camera angle is, as both helicopters are flying.

D'you know, it's funny. I did think I saw his feet move when they were putting the body in the back of the ambulance after they'd taken him off the helicoptor but dismissed it.

It wouldn't surprise me if what they actually did was let the press think that was Michael's body being transported as a distraction while the real body was slipped out a back door and taken into the building a different way to avoid real photos of him being taken.

After all, it really is quite goulish seeing a dead body of a celebrity being carried in body bag so openly.

Well, not open, but you know what I mean.
