For those who might be interested, just to say that Corrie is one of the featured shows in tonight's first edition of a new 10-part ITV3 series called Drama Trails (9pm). And according to Corrie Blog, more Corrie actors will feature in future episodes.

At hospital yesterday there was a doctor that passed by a couple of times who looked really like Matt Jerrams. He didn't have a bloodied white coat so that was good. I may have been a bit worried otherwise.

He's not a proper Doctor then... I'd change hospitals if I was you!

Hospital? Nothing serious I hope...
Hopefully not. Just had a couple of x-rays of my back as it's been giving me some trouble for the last 3 months. I hurt it back in February but it was ok for a bit, but now I'm in almost continuous pain. It's probably just some swelling in my lower spine. A bit of treatment and some physio therapy and I'll be as right as rain. :)

No no, it wasn't that.

I hurt it doing a work experience thing 6 weeks earlier. I was surprised actually that it was fine for the shoots, I really did expect to be suffering at the end of the day but it was ok. All I got over the two weeks was a slight twinge in the pub after the second shoot. If you spotted me pull a slightly odd face while you were talking that was me holding in a little yelp.

Over on YouTube, just happened across THIS cameo of Joe's from 2006 (clip uploaded today). It's from an episode of Hollyoaks, where he played a Trading Standards officer called Andrew Gardner (sp?). You see him very briefly from 45 seconds in, and then for a full scene from 5 minutes and 10 seconds in. Decent part for a cameo, that.

The films that were buried alive (The Guardian)

A real shame that so many films will either NEVER (cos they've been destroyed) or likely never see the light of day. Ironic really that, regardless of how much help it may or may not trigger for the 'lost' films out there, this article actually puts this issue out there for lots more people to see.

And HERE is one of the places you can buy Bloodbath at the House of Death. BATHOD...Get it? ;)

My god I spent the best part of 15 years trying to get hold of that film. I ended up getting an old vhs copy from ebay a couple of years ago...I don't even have a video recorder but had to have it. It was a big favourite of mine as a kid. I remember watching that, shogun assassin and a film called lifeforce in a triple bill saturday avo video blowout years ago. Outstanding. Vincent Price is ace in that and there are some genuinely scary moments. It's a bag of shite but really enjoyable.

Gareth Hunt has a big mole on his arm and an actual big mole comes out of it and kills a woman...that's just insane. There is also an E.T pisstake in there that bookends the film.

Well Kenny Everett was just a genius in my book, so I WANT IT!

But if I can't have it, I'll settle for the DVD

I also think Marty Feldman was too, and going from films to comedy sketches, "The Loneliness of the Long distance Golfer" cracked me up.

And there was a Charlie Drake one where he staggered into a pub with a toy dog under his arm and ordered "a pint of Drambuie shandy, and a cat for the dog".

I knew I shouldn't have started this Reply.
