Problems with logging in - here's what to do

If you get his message when logging in:

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched."

All you need to do when you get that message is click 'back' on your browser, then refresh your page. You should be logged in.

This will be fixed at some point

um...sorry Mike, it didn't work for me. When I click the back button it almost instantly returns to the same page with themessage and refreshing brings it back in mili seconds too.

In the end I tried a new method, cos persistence wasn't working the way it usually does... I clicked "Log In" without putting my name or password, which brought up the box that says you entered the wrong username or password...then tried again putting in the information...and it worked! It was probably a fluke, I think I confused it into submission!

You need to click back till you get to the sites home page, that's what Finch did.

It wouldn't click back to any other page though.

So, I thought I'd have another go to see if constant clicking would bring back the home page eventually...and what happens... I get logged in first time and can't perform my experiment!

I give up.

I just search Pleased Sheep on google, click on the first link on the results page, go back to the results page, click on the next link on the results page, go back to the results page, then click on the link I clicked on first on the results page...and I'm in.

Simple...

This should all be fixed soon once I can find some time to update the software. Problem is, every time I have a spare afternoon the time gets filled with some more work coming in!

I've updated the software that the site runs on now. Not sure if it's got rid of the above error because I didn't get that error personally. I've just logged out and logged back in flawlessly.

Just got to fix up menu links for the arcade and social groups now.

Note that you can now click on your name up at the top to see your profile. Makes it easier.

You have privacy options too in your control panel.

And I've managed to log in twice without seeing a single error message. I'm almost missing them.

No, I'm not, honestly! Ta for fixing it, it almost makes up for the last 2 minutes at Turf Moor on Tuesday.
