I know I said I didn't want to tempt fate by posting in a "Premiership" Thread until we had 40 points, but recent events would indicate Burnley really are in the Premiership for real now.

Owen Coyle on Question of Sport, 2 Burnley goals in the Goal of the Month non-competition on M.O.T.D. (the other East Lancs. were featured 3 times - but all as goals conceded, not scored. Including the Robbie Blake one. Sorry)

And ITV have shown "A Shot At Glory" a couple of times too. Funny how life imitates art, maybe the team's strip in that had a subliminal influence on Owen Coyle's decision to manage Burnley.............

And we're still in the top half of the table. I expect I'll wake up soon though.

Burnley were like Jekyll and Hyde on Saturday. Stupid costly mistakes from individuals but in spells we were much better than West Ham.

I bet Coyle went absolutely mental with them at Half Time though

I'd say the same for us in truth. The three goals we let in were bloody soft. It's a good thing we got those 5 first. Had Burnley come back sooner we'd have been screwed.
