    The Dead Thread

The artist Beryl Cook has died at 81. There's an audio slideshow of her work here.

    Mind Meanders

Yay for you. Though not the financial situation it's left you in. My abiding memory of him will be the feet. I can still smell them.

    Mind Meanders

Now that the 800 Posts thread has closed there's a bit of a void for just posting little silly things that are in your mind or little oddities that don't quite need a whole thread to themselves. So here's this thread to serve as a place to have sort of free flowing conversation type posts. Any...

    Bar Stewards montage

I'm havin' that! :)C :)C :)C Seriously, though...I'm chuffed to be thought of in such high esteem for such a title. Now go and finish the fucking film. ;-)

    Money grabbing artists

I could understand if you're playing a cd or iPod but it's harsh if you're just listening to the radio, which a public service and pays PRS already. But even if you're playing a cd or iPod, the cd/track has been paid for and the royalties have already gone to the artist. It's obviously fine to...

    The Dead Thread

Humphrey Lyttleton sadly died on Friday, aged 86. I'm always miffed when I see the word legend or legendary used on undeserving subjects but in this case Humphrey truly was a legend and the show he chaired for over 30 years, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, really is legendary too. It won't be the...

    The Digital TV Con?

^ That's a whole different channel, surely. ;-) :)C  I have some old videos hanging around but nothing like an archive. The oldest has all the old Thomas The Tank Engine episodes from about 1986, which you can get on DVD now anyway. Plus I don't think half a Jean-Michel Jarre...

    The Digital TV Con?

Something I always hoped would appear with all these multiple channels was one that actually showed from start to finish a whole day's broadcast. Just show the whole day's schedule of ITV on say May 15th 1987 or BBC1 on September 27th 1976, with all the old adverts and original continuity...

Finchy Friday - Bar Stewards screen grabs and comments thread...

Yes, yes it is. Hey, if your talent spotted, you could be the face for the next Lynx advertising campaign. Every shot of you has your fragrant armpits on display. ;-)

Finchy Friday - Bar Stewards screen grabs and comments thread...

Cheers. It was a rushed one, though. I'm not happy with that hair or nose. I might do another one and take a bit more time on it. Ahh the memories of seeing Birty film that scene. :)C

    Nahh. If I get I get it, if I don't I don't. Let's see who does. :)C

    800 Posts!

But that would be only 799 posts. ;-) The clip should be on post 801. Also, that way it'll be on top of the page rather than at the bottom with everyone's reactions underneath. I still say post 800 should be left to fate. With the previous free flowing nature of the thread it would be a shame...
