Didn't understand much of all that, (my technical abilities mostly consist of shouting "Help!") but I'm glad you got there in the end!Dave Laurie said:Oooooh, another Award! Thanks Fran, but is the Persistence Award a higher accolade than Best Newcomer? "I'd like to thank my family and friends, without whom all this would have been, blah, blah, blah, sob sob, etc....."
But, to return to the point, I've now heard the music, and the corpsing/giggling fit, and they do add to the overall effect, and were worth the wait. The original download had a .mpeg suffix and couldn't get any audio working, so I later went to the exposureroom site and downloaded it again as a .mov, which plays fine in the most recent version of GomPlayer, which supports H.264 codec. I originally got it to play Flash Video format stuff and it does have some useful features, such as informing you of missing codecs and connecting to the Internerd to download them - and it's nothing to do with Apple, which is just another example of my reverse-snobbery! I live in Morecambe, what else did you expect?
I'm havin' that!Cop said:The 800 POSTS AWARDS

Plays perfectly, I think the issue may be the speed of your computer. You need to have a decent spec computer to play HD content. The quality is much better than Vimeo and Exposure Room to my eyes.Joanna said:How does the HD one play for you, Mike? And did you use the beta uploader? For example, I put up one video using the standard uploader, but it wouldn't play back right...until I used the beta uploader.
Glad you think the image quality is excellent. With the limited amount of video kit we've had at our disposal, that's kind of miraculousJoanna said:Yep, that's probably what it is. Shame, as the image quality is excellent. My computer plays 'high quality' youtube videos okay, but HQ vids and HD vids obviously ain't the same thing...
